Gree and DeNA companies, both Japanese, now argue the supremacy of the game "social" on mobile devices. At E3 in Los Angeles, which was held from June 2 to 7, Gree did not hide his ambitions, with one of the largest stands of the show. The publisher also wanted to show the breadth of its catalog, with very occasional game, but also titles to more complex mechanical, on smartphones and tablets.
Created in 2004, Gree now records excellent economic results (pdf). In the first quarter, the group recorded a turnover of 560 million, and earnings of $ 162 million. The results are similar to DeNA, founded in 1999, who knows for its part quarterly revenue of $ 529 million, for a profit of 234 million. For comparison, Zynga, the leading games on Facebook, realize, during the same period, a turnover of 321 million.
